Delaney Co-Locate Communication Tower

This proposed project is the installation of antenna on an existing 120-foot self-support lattice communication tower located in Columbia County, Washington.  The antenna will be placed at 30 feet above ground.  The area of potential effect is the leased ground area, measuring 6 x 22 feet, for associated equipment.

Pre-field research revealed three previously recorded cultural resources within 1.0 mi (1.6 km) of the Project Area.  None of these sites are located within the Project Area and none listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

The fieldwork was completed in a manner consistent with Washington State Senate Bill 5282 amending RCW 27.53.030, and included inspection techniques to identify surface archaeological resources.  No cultural material was observed during the survey of the proposed Delaney Co-Locate Communication Tower Project Area and no further archaeological investigations are recommended prior to execution of this project.  There are no National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) structures within a 0.5-mi (0.8-km) radius of the Project Area and as such the proposed cell tower will have no adverse direct or visual effect.

Location:  Columbia County, Washington
