The City of Elk River, Idaho planned upgrades of its water system including the construction of a 100,000 gallon storage tank and associated supply and distribution water line, and the construction of a slow sand filter treatment plant.
The cultural resource survey identified a previously recorded railroad grade within the project area. It was determined that the project would have no effect on the overall integrity of this linear historic property, however, and Plateau recommended the project proceed without further archaeological investigations.
