Plateau Archaeological Investigations conducted cultural resource survey of several streets in the City of Grandview’s Grandridge neighborhood for proposed improvements. There were four elements to the project: waterline replacement, sidewalk construction, street widening, and street lighting. The project is funded through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). As this was a federally funded project, cultural resource compliance standards mandate a Section 106 review.
The cultural resource survey provided no surface indications of Native American or Euroamerican cultural material or features within the proposed undertaking.
