Plateau Archaeological Investigations conducted cultural resource survey of several streets in the City of Tieton for the proposed water system improvements. The project included over 3.8 miles of 8-inch and 12-inch water transmission line installed underneath existing roadways. Ground disturbing activities included excavation of trenches reaching an approximate depth of 6.0 feet. The project was partially funded by a grant from the Washington State Department of Community, Trade, and Economic Development, and must meet Executive Order 05-05 requirements regarding cultural resources.
