Rizzuti Subdivision in Walla Walla, Washington

A cultural resource survey of the proposed Rizzuti Subdivision in Walla Walla was performed by Plateau in 2006.  The subdivision included 300 single family house lots, associated utilities, access roads, and “green spaces” across the 115 acre project area.  The survey and subsequent subsurface investigations resulted in the recordation of one historic-era artifact scatter.  The site was investigated and determined to be not eligible for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).  The site was located in an area designated as “green space” allowing avoidance of the site during the development process.

Location: Walla Walla County, Washington
